National conference on ICT in school education held on 7th November 2015. I got an opportunity to participate in that program. Six ICT related applications are launched in that programme. Central government take good initiative in ICT education. It is good if state government also try some of the initiative in their states. I believe tamilnadu government will take some of these initiatives. These are the six application which have been launched yesterday by central government in the field of ICT education.
1. ePathshala:
ePathshala India is a joint initiative of MHRD, NCERT and Government of India has been developed for showcasing all educational e resources including text books, audio, video, periodicals and variety of print and non print materials. This ePahshala is available in both website and as mobile application. Interactive text books are available. When you log on this you can enter as teacher, parent , educator and student

2. Saransh application:
Saransh is a tool for comprehensive self review and analysis for CBSE affiliated schools and parents. It enables them to to analyse student's performance in order to take remedial measures.
Using this application parents can compare their children's performance with in school, state, region or nation.

3. Shaala Siddhi:
This web portal has an initiative platform where on each school can submit self evaluation report online. Then the external evaluators have to use the same web portal to provide their evolution report. A consolidate school evolution report is generated online encompassing both self and external school evaluation report.
4. Shalla Darban :
It started on 5 th June 2015. Now created a web portal. Through this programme student's attendance, progress, activities are send through parent by automatic sms technology.

It is a mobile application through which if students ask their doubt , experts clarify their doubts.

6.MDM online analysis:
The details of the mid day meal program is collected through online and real time online data can be available at any time.
