Pledge to save electricity
üI will reduce the time of watching TV and increase the time to play outside.
üI will turn off lights and unused lights in
rooms that that are not in use.
üI will remove dust from you tube lights / CFLs so
that the light will be brighter and
you don’t have to switch on more lamps.
üI will switch on fan only when needed.
üI will create ‘Energy Helpers’ in my school and help everybody in saving electricity.
üI place my table near the Window and use natural light instead of a
lamp.
üWhile studying I will use LED table lamp instead of room light when it
is dark.
üI will not leave my television etc in standby mode.
üI will use fluorescent light bulbs because
they use 75% less energy and last longer than incandescent light bulbs.
üI will Plant trees in my yard because they help shade to my house in the summer and keep your
house cooler.
